In observance of Independence Day, Hanover Town offices, including the Town Hall, Department of Public Works (Sylvester School Building), Council on Aging, and the John Curtis Free Library, will be closed on Thursday, July 4, 2024, and will reopen during normal hours on Monday, July 8th. You can use our Town Department Directory for contact information if you need help during this time.
The Hanover Transfer Station will be open during normal hours on Friday, July 5th, Saturday, July 6th, and Sunday, July 7th. Please note that the Ames Way Brush Pile will be closed on Friday, July 5th, and open on Saturday, July 6th.
It is illegal to bring fireworks into Massachusetts, even if they were legally purchased elsewhere. For emergencies, dial 911.
