Town of Hanover Now Accepting School Committee Candidate Applications 6/7/24

The Town of Hanover is seeking applications from Hanover residents to fill a vacancy on the Hanover School Committee that will begin on June 27, 2024. The position will continue until the Annual Town Election in May 2025. This position has become available as a result of the recent resignation of School Committee Chairperson Kristen Cervantes. Her family will be relocating out of Hanover later this month.

 

Applications for this position must be submitted via the Town's Talent Bank by 11:59 pm on Friday, June 21^st. Late applications will not be accepted.

 

Any applicant who submits an application by the deadline will be required to interview during an open, public, and joint meeting of the Select Board and School Committee on Monday, June 24^th, at 7:00 pm if they want to be formally considered. Interviews will all be conducted via Zoom. If applicants require assistance using Zoom, the Town of Hanover will provide assistance and resources, if needed.

 

The Select Board and School Committee will reconvene their public joint meeting on Wednesday, June 26^th, at 7:00 pm to vote on a candidate to fill the position.
