Sandra MacFarlane
The Conservation Agent is responsible for gathering information and evidence for each project, inquiry, or complaint submitted to the Conservation Office. Protection of natural resources, especially Hanover's waterways and aquifer, is of utmost importance to the Agent and the Conservation Commission. To do so, projects are reviewed by the Conservation Agent, site inspections are conducted, research and experience of the Agent both aid in dissemination of information to the Commission. Working closely with other Town departments and State and Federal agencies is also a daily function. As well as the above, the Agent also serves to run the administration of the Conservation Office, conducts community outreach, and provides educational programs.
